Primary Concepts for This Skill
- The term ‘Chord Qualities’ refers to whether a chord is major, minor, diminished or augmented.
- There are two kinds of diminished 7th chords: (1) half-diminished and(2) fully diminished.
- Chord qualities simply relate to the role of the chords 3rd, 7th (and 5th in the case of diminished chords).
